SEE FATAL1TY AT THE CREATIVE AND OCZ BOOTHS

(GERMANY, Leipzig, August 18, 2008) – Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel the best known video gamer in the world and holder of 12 world titles will be in Leipzig, Germany at Games Convention from Thursday, August 21 – Sunday, August 24. Fatal1ty will be alternating between the Creative Labs booth Hall 4 G 02 and the OCZ Technology booth Hall 4, Stand B from 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm.

Fatal1ty and Creative will be featuring the new Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Champion and Professional series sound cards with the fastest audio performance available. Players can hear sound effects with precision as the realistic surround sound emphasizes the crackling of gun fire and explosions. In addition to the sound cards the new Creative Fatal1ty USB Gamer HS100 headset with built in X-Fi technology will also be introduced. This headset will provide gamers with the ultimate experience in realistic sound and comfort. In addition, there is a noise canceling microphone.

Over at the OCZ booth, Fatal1ty will be introducing the new line of memory products carrying the Fatal1ty Brand. The new Fatal1ty memory modules, available in single or dual channel kits and in DDR2 and DDR3 specifications, look good and feel sturdy with their proprietary black and red XTC heat spreaders. Already proving popular with gamers, Fatal1ty memory features aggressive latencies, high densities, great stability and blazing frequencies to help DirectX-10 PC games reach their full potential on the latest platforms.

Fans at Games Convention will have the opportunity to challenge Fatal1ty at Quake 4 in shoot-out exhibitions. In addition Fatal1ty will sign autographs and give away cool prizes. On Friday evening at the convention, OCZ is partnering up with Red Bull to throw a bash for gamers and will be giving away more prizes to some of the lucky guests attending.

At the fifth annual live e-sports show on Saturday, August 23 “Fatal1ty” will present a coveted eSports award, this can be seen 8PM CET on ESL TV webstream or via IPTV .

Johnathan became the world’s first full time professional video gamer in 1999 after accepting an invitation to represent the USA at an international tournament in Stockholm, where he went undefeated with a perfect performance, winning all 18 maps.
