Johnathan ‘Fatal1ty’ Wendel, of Independence, Missouri, is one of 29 inductees recognized for their video game achievements being inducted into the International Video Game Hall of Fame.

The International Video Game Hall of Fame has announced that a Kansas City area man is to be inducted into the IVGHOF on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Johnathan ‘Fatal1ty’ Wendel, a native of Independence, Missouri, is recognized by the IVGHOF as one of the most successful video gamers of all time, noted for being a 12-time world champion with gross winnings exceeding $500,000 in the past ten years.
